  1. What did you like and what didn't you like as much and why?

Sounds like so much fun. How is the place you're staying?

  2. Don't hate me, but I didn't like how urban Milan felt around out hotel. The hotel was nice, but surrounding it was dirty and too much graffiti. I enjoyed walking to the tobbachi to get breakfast. I enjoyed walking to the two restaurants that we had dinner at. Both nights we passed a very "hip" place where young 20's-30's were hanging out. It was a bar with a patio that extended out onto the sidewalk. It looked like fun. "The Last Supper" was AMAZING. I didn't know it was a gigantic mural. Seeing it in person allowed me to see so much more detail. I had never heard of Alla Scala before...I'm a heathen. I was surprised at how cool it was. I didn't like walking down the high fashion streets...Mooie wanted to do that. They were crowded with snobby people. The Galleria was fun because of the energy. I liked the history built into the decor and spinning on the bull for good luck...there is a depression in the tile where people spin. That cracked me up.

  3. I, for one, would definitely not hate you for not liking Milan. I didn't really like it much, either. I thought the Mussoulini stuff was kind of interesting. I mean, it's the home of powerful European Fascism in some ways. But, yeah. Fashion capitol of the world, I guess...
